LEAD IN.

About

lead + heart = emotionally intelligent leaders

History

Jennifer and Jamé Bolds met Olin and Laura Jennings while working in a marriage community development non-profit in the Manhattan facing suburbs of New Jersey. Jennifer was invited to attend a day training conducted by, The Jennings Group, a management consulting firm which teaches emotional intelligence as a practical skill set.

This interaction sparked a vision in Jennifer which caused her to focus on emotional intelligence in marriage & family practice. Olin shared a vision with Jamé to create a sustainable operating foundation to encourage and train pastors in emotional intelligence as a practical skill set. The Bolds and the Jennings found a synergy and love for one another which developed into a mentoring role where the Jennings poured wisdom and emotional intelligence into the young Bolds.

Olin Jennings original vision for the foundation was to design a leadership skills training program to equip pastors and church leaders to vitalize their churches (Jennings, 2009). The Bolds have expanded that vision to include para-church ministries and selected non-profits. To this day, Mrs Olin Jennings remains as an advisor to the foundation.

Founders

Olin (1944-2012) & Luara Jennings

From working at prestigious consulting firms like Booz, Allen and Hamilton; Deloitte & Touche; and Charles H. Bentz Associates to opening their own management practice, The Jennings Group, have rewritten the rules of leadership. The Jennings have transformed managers into leaders through emotional intelligence as a practical skill set at large and small firms for nearly 20 years. They made headlines in the STEM community by transforming technicians into leaders. Understanding how leaders are naturally hardwired is the gift that the Jennings brings to corporate America.

The Jennings Group has a global reach including both coasts of the United States and Europe. Mrs Olin Jennings has since transferred the practice to their daughter Kate Kaynak, Ph.D. who continues the leadership tradition in corporate America.
