Headquartered in Hampton Roads Virginia Metro Area, The Jennings Leadership Foundation transforms non-profit managers into emotionally intelligent leaders on and between coasts. The foundation is designed as a 501c3 non-profit operating foundation that is funded by a growing endowment and program tuition.

Our Mission:
The Jennings Leadership Foundation transforms non-profit managers into leaders using emotional intelligence as a practical skill set.

Our Vision:
Our vision is to minimize organizational conflict and build health in non-profit organizations by developing emotionally intelligent leaders in: every state + every city + every neighborhood in America.

The foundation specializes in six areas of leadership: understanding yourself, understanding others, communicating to motivate, leading change, marriage & family and conflict management. Whether you’re a pastor or a non-profit executive. We will not only help you grow your understanding of people, but we’ll also help it thrive in the world. We bring extensive experience and professionalism to every leader, team and customize our support to your individual needs and concerns.

Our consultants have been practicing for over a decade and understand how to close the gap from personal and organizational leadership. We’re on the pulse of the modern emotional intelligence movement in non-profit space, and have monitored our evolution to inform our own management and leadership approaches—all to give you exceptional training that will last for years to come.

Areas of Leadership

Understanding yourself

All leadership begins and starts with understanding the psychological make up and hardwired DNA of understanding yourself. Self awareness is core and key to understanding your leadership motivation.

leading change

Kodak, Blockbuster and the church of Ephesus all faded away. Why? They didn’t change. Leadership didn’t know how institutionalize their personal mission into organizational mission. Leading change is hard and we can show you how to do it.

Understanding others

Not all people are the same. Understanding others hardwired motivation is vastly important in leading individuals and organizational culture. Understanding who to lead and who not to lead is vital.

marriage & family

The most fundamental institution you will lead is your marriage and your family. Interpersonal relationships in marriage and family are the foundation for a happy life. If you love well, you will lead well and you will live well.

communicating to motivate

Have you noticed that not everyone hears something the same way? That’s because certain words, inflections, body language and tone are all communication forms. Knowing that combination is leadership equity.

conflict MANAGEMENT

You can’t have movement without conflict. Though conflict reimagined is not a fight it’s a conversation. Understanding what people do and how to talk to them in conflict creates a multi-demensional leader.

Leaders do four things: understand themselves, understand others, communicate to motivate and lead change.
